The Guangdong Laser Industry Association was established in 2013, a non-profit social organization approved by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, with the relevant functional departments of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government as its business supervisor.

As the most representative professional organization for the laser industry in southern China, the Guangdong Laser Industry Association takes "integrating resources, promoting collaborative innovation, and driving high-quality industrial development" as its purpose. After more than a decade of deep involvement in the laser field, it has achieved remarkable results in laser technology exchanges, industrial collaboration, and international cooperation, becoming one of the most influential and appealing benchmarking social organizations in China's laser industry.

Over the years, the Laser Industry Association has made important contributions to promoting the development of China's laser technology and technical exchanges and business cooperation between China and overseas countries. The Association annually co-hosts the "China (Shenzhen) Laser & Optoelectronics Expo(CIOE)", "LMN World Laser Manufacturing Conference", "ALAT", and "Asia Additive Manufacturing Application Technology Forum", inviting more than 2,000 professionals from China and around the world in total. These events have effectively promoted technical cooperation between research institutions and enterprises.

The Association has organized member enterprises to visit and exchange in countries such as Germany, the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, Lithuania, and Singapore to seek cooperation. It also hosts the Laser Entrepreneurs Golf Tournament to enhance friendship and cooperation among laser enterprise CEOs.

Meanwhile, the Association leads members to explore new laser applications through activities like the "Laser Application Salon" and holds the industry-wide "Secret Light Awards" selection. It also provides services such as management training and talent training for enterprises. Currently, the Guangdong Laser Industry Association has become a laser professional social organization with significant influence and industry appeal in China.

Representative Work and Achievements of the Association

1.Hosting the LMN World Laser Manufacturing Conference

From 2019 to 2025, the Guangdong Laser Industry Association has consecutively initiated and hosted the LMN World Laser Manufacturing Conference for six years, inviting renowned laser experts from the United States, China, Lithuania, Germany, Russia, Switzerland, Japan, Singapore, and other countries to attend and deliver reports. The conference introduces market development of the laser industry and the latest laser technology research topics in major countries.

2.Building the Shenzhen Laser Valley Industrial Park

In 2019, the Guangdong Laser Industry Association joined hands with the Shenzhen Bao'an District Government to build the Shenzhen Laser Valley Industrial Park in Xinqiao Street. It plans to, within 3-5 years, renovate and upgrade 340,000 square meters of industrial carriers and integrate 225 mu of industrial land, aiming to achieve an output value of over 10 billion yuan and help Shenzhen become China's largest laser industry cluster.

3.Establishing the Shenzhen Intelligent Manufacturing Laser Technology Research Institute

Relying on the support of the Guangdong Laser Industry Association, Shenzhen Municipality, and Bao'an District, the Shenzhen Intelligent Manufacturing Laser Technology Research Institute was established. based in Shenzhen, the institute is committed to incubating more high-precision and cutting-edge laser enterprises, while providing constructive suggestions for governments at all levels in Shenzhen to develop the laser industry.
