As the spotlight of technological innovation focuses on the field of advanced laser manufacturing, the 8th "Secret Light Awards" (SLA) ceremony, hosted by the Organizing Committee of China Laser Industry Innovation Contribution Award and Laserfair.com, was grandly held in Shenzhen, China on the evening of June 4. The award-winning list was announced at the ceremony, and a number of innovative products recognized by the market and enterprises that have made outstanding contributions to technological innovation in the laser industry stood out. Over 40 awarded enterprises have become new representatives of innovation in China's laser industry.

Known as the "Oscars of China's laser industry", this industry grand event not only witnessed annual technological breakthroughs and industrial achievements, but also built a platform for in-depth integration of industry, academia, research and application, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of China's laser industry.

At the awarding ceremony, academicians, government leaders, Chinese and foreign laser experts, and senior executives from major well-known laser enterprises gathered together to witness the birth of the peak honor in the laser industry. Ruan Shuangchen, the rotating chairman of LMN 2025 World Laser Manufacturing Conference and the founding president of Shenzhen Technology University; Zhu Xiao, the deputy leader of the expert review panel of "Secret Light Awards" and the director of the National Engineering Research Center for Laser Processing, of Huazhong University of Science and Technology; and the special guest Gu Bo, an academician of the Canadian Academy of Engineering and the vice chairman of the International Commission for Optics (ICO), delivered speeches. The attending guests all stated that the selection results of this year's "Secret Light Awards" fully demonstrated the innovative vitality and development potential of the laser industry.

According to the organizing committee, this year's award evaluation activity attracted more than 100 enterprise representatives from the entire industry chain, including laser sources, core components, laser equipment, and application terminals, to participate in the selection. The shortlisted projects of this year's "Secret Light Awards" include innovative products and projects from well-known domestic and foreign laser enterprises, advanced technologies declared by domestic laser scientific research institutions and universities, as well as hard-core projects pioneered by "newcomers" in the industry. The 141 shortlisted projects declared by 105 laser industry chain enterprises are highly innovative, with independent and controllable core technologies. Most of the projects reach the domestic advanced level, and a number of technologies reach the world advanced level.

The winners of this year's "Secret Light Awards" stood out among many excellent enterprises, fully demonstrating the progress and achievements of enterprise innovative technology development.
